Them Florida shooters

Excuse me everyone, I've kept up with a couple of shooters on here who all the time got something going. This past summer they have not let us know of there shooting so I'm gonna ask these ol boys what gives? Is it the covid deal or other things? These guys always post something to talk about or to learn from.

I can't speak for One Ounce but Mrs. One Eye and I have kept up our weekly Sporting clays shooting. We have also taken up a bit of hand gun shooting. Mainly when the weather is either too rainy or too hot to shoot clays ( that isn't too often). It all started when we decided to get our CCL. We took the required carry classes and she out shot me. I bought her a Ruger Mark IV Lite for her birthday and she bought me a Ruger LCRX 22wrm revolver. Covid has not effected our shooting . Shotgun shells and rim fire ammo is becoming difficult to find locally and the freight costs to have it shipped (when you can find it) adds to the cost. Our local sporting clay range has raised its prices but, not out of line with its competitors. Coming into the Holidays and wishing everyone the best. Stay safe and stay well !

Where I live, the closest sporting clays course is open but it is quail season and they focus more on that and stop all registered tournaments. (It is also 1.5 hours away). That said, I have two clubs within 45 minutes that have 5-stands. I also have been shooting a lot more pistol. Unfortunately, I will have to miss the FL State at Blackjack due to a schedule conflict.

One-eye - you and the missus should take a ride up to Bradford sometime and shoot their three courses - challenging to say the least - and then go to Roy's Market just outside Starke and get some of their fresh sausage, pan or link; best flavor ever.

I knew if it all came out , something worth talking about would come to us. Now our fellow gunners are into pistols. These guys besides shooting weekly, tournaments, pistols got it going on.
