Shotgun advice Newbie's and Seasoned shooter alike

Where does shotgunning start ?.
IMO : With the purchase of a properly fitted gun .
How does one know if it's the right gun ?.
IMO : Feel and consistent cheek weld , eye parallel along the sight ramp .
Not behind it nor looking down on it but from receiver to bead along the ramp.
Where does one go to get a properly fitted shotgun or Rifle ?
Again IMO ; To a professional ,it can be a shooter with accomplishments records or a specialist in proper gun fitment . Not likely found at a local big box shop or LGS . Those folks are sales personnel with an agenda , SALES !. An few if any are qualified so called experts .
Now there are Local Gun Shop owners who are also excellent gunsmiths and even a few stock makers . So DON'T discount them as their in the KNOW or will point you too whomever is qualified .

This Video is a series of informative solid shotgunning TIPS and by pure coincidences just happens to be one of MY instructors from Many Years back .
FYI : He didn't do a bad job either and has a Great Personality . Hope this is helpful . I was on board when John busted 4K sporting Clays for the record
