Not familiar with the Win pink 7/8 oz wad. The 7/8 Win wads that I use are gray. I use them in AA, STS, gun club, and Estate hulls

I've used a ton of winchester wads in remington hulls over the years, but all in 20 gauge.

Worked fine. The pink wads aren't 7/8oz, the gray ones are.

Except the crimp may be dished in enough to keep it from closing all the way.

I don't know why not - there are any number of loads in the Lyman manual with Remington STS/Nitro/GunClub hulls and Winchester WAA12 and WAA12SL wads. I use Claybuster copies of Winchester wads in Gun Club hulls all the time - no problems whatsoever.

Are they 7/8? There is also a pink 3/4oz wad (from Claybuster) that I use exclusively. In either event, yes they will work as GC hulls are tapered like Winchester AA hulls. If the recipe is on the website for the powder you're using, you're GTG.

The pink 12 gauge wads I have are Winchester WAA12SL or its identical twin, the Claybuster CB1100-12. Both designed for a 1 ounce load, however.
