In search of a CLEAN 20 Ga load

Hi,
Newbie here, recently started shooting some skeet with Briley side kick 2.0 tubes in a 12 Ga. O/U.

Not reloading yet, but have a chance on a used MEC and would like to find a load that is a LOT cleaner than the Rem Gun Clubs and Win AAs that I have shot so far.
Only 3 boxes of AAs, a case (/flat, 10 boxes, 250 shells) of the GCs.
They all produce a lot of greasy soot - greasy ? maybe I mean waxy ?
Anyway, when I start reloading I would like it to be with a load that is a lot cleaner to handle than these.

Maybe what I have been using aren't QUITE as dirty as black powder, but they're nowhere near as clean as the 12 Ga Rem STS shells (which I am also saving for reloading).

20/28. Green Dot, Universal, Unique will all work with standard 7/8 oz loads; when you drop down to 3/4, 20/28 and Green Dot are a little cleaner.
dawgs2 and Flash like this.

After 40 years of shooting and reloading, I don't see any advantage to so-called 'clean-burning' powders vs the old-style stuff - and yes, I've shot a bunch thru autoloaders. I've not once had a misfire or misfeed due to a 'dirty' powder.
To each his own, and may we all love this game we enjoy in our own way!
