Casa Grande Trap And Skeet

Casa Grande Trap and Skeet | Home of the All Green Target

I've now shot here twice. Really nice people running it and no ROs at all.

13 Trap fields, 1 skeet field, one 5 stand.

Shooting is sort of on the honor system. You go into the clubhouse, buy however many rounds of trap or skeet or 5 stand that you want and go shoot. Nobody checks to make sure you don't shoot more than you pay for.

The people who shoot here are very nice too. Yesterday I shot with a Snowbird from Idaho, a Snowbird from Minnesota and 5 locals who are friends of mine.

I'll be back.

Yeah, and I go with a few friends and usually 1 or 2 others join us.

Not many skeet shooters around here I guess.

Same way at my old club near Ocala - 6 trap fields, 2 skeet fields, 2 5-stands and 1 Parcour. When the snowbirds come down, it is all about the trap shooting. He makes his annual income from trap in 4-5 months.

BTW, I love green targets when I shot out west against the dry brown sage brush; they really POPPED!

I actually had to get used to them. I guess I've shot orange and black for so long that the brain wasn't registering green properly.
