Shotgun primers

A shotgun shell for an antique shotgun (Black Powder) used what for a primer? It seems utilizing/converting to a modern 209 primer invalidates the shell/ammo as antique and makes it Modern. 209 primers are considered Modern ammo. On one side utilizing BP retains the shell as antique, but a 209 primer makes it modern.

They used Remington-type 57 primers according to the link above.

Still have about 600 CCI 157's. Been burning them up in my muzzleloader.
