Walmart sells more ammo than just about anyone else, and that includes top-shelf stuff to bargain basement ones; Same for Big 5, Academy, Sportsmen's Warehouse, and 1000 other online folks

Even Bass Pro. They recently had 12 & 20 Gauge Winchester shells for $5.00/25

Not a bad price these days.

I've shot a lot of stuff from Walmart, K-Mart and even Woolworths. It all launched just fine.

I went to Bass Pro here in Mississippi Saturday and they were high AF. I usually buy my ammo online ( no taxes ) and try to find someone that has a shipping coupon code. Sportsmansguide.com always has a coupon code for free shipping if you buy anything over $50. If they don't advertise it, google it and you can find one somewhere on the internet. NatchezSS.com ( Natchez Shooter's Supply located in TN ) has a free shipping code for any purchase over $50. However NatchezSS will not sell to anyone in TN, AL, and I think GA. They said they have to many vendors there, they didn't want to undercut them or some crap like that. MidwayUSA started using free shipping coupons here lately but it's for any purchase over $99. Cabelas has a free shipping coupon for purchases over $99. Bass Pro has free shipping on anything $35 and over or $3 shipping for 2 day delivery ( I doubt ammo is included in that 2 day delivery promotion ) If you order from Cabelas or Bass Pro and you have one in your state you will be taxed. I have a Bass Pro in my state but not a Cabelas. Around the holidays in December is the absolute best time to buy ammo online as a lot of places have free shipping coupons, with no minimum purchase. That means you can buy a $2.50 box of .22s and get free shipping LOL. But to answer the original question, yes Wal Mart's ammo is the same as it is anywhere else. Some of it is way too high and some of it is about the same I can order it for but you have to pay the tax if you buy it from Wal Mart.

You might try Academy - they ship for free on orders over $25 - and that includes ammo.

Not necessarily - friend has had MULTIPLE failure to fires with Gun Clubs - cost him big time in a tournament and then again when I was with him for some practice. Estates are cheap, one leaves a lot of residue; the other recoils real heavy. There's also a BIG difference between Win AA and their crap Universal loads.

Win Universals universally suck. It's hard to believe that a once-great company put their name on crap like that.
I made out like a bandit when the local WallyWorld closed out the Federal Gold Medals at $5, then $3 a box. YEEHAW!!!
I'm somewhat surprised to hear that about Gun Clubs, I've not had a single ftf with them and again, I bought a bunch when they opened a new Dick's Sporting Goods in the Secret City and had them on sale at $4.97 with a $10 off a $50 purchase - buy a flat and a candy bar, $4.37 a box out the door with a free candy bar!
