case for 30" bbl

Have Rem 1100 with 30 inch barrel.
Looking for a reasonably priced hard case,
that will fit assembled gun.
I'm not taking it on any airplanes.

When you say reasonably priced do you mean like a $90 Plano, a $200 pelican, or $300 americase? As I assume a $1200 oak, canvas, and leather is out of the question.

Why a hard case for an assembled gun?
There are plenty of soft ones with lots of padding and plenty of hard take-down ones?

I second this to a great degree. By taking the gun down, you get a chance to make quick inspections easier before and after you shoot. It's also far less cumbersome to travel with. Most of my rifles and shotguns won't fit in my BMW without folding the seats or taking the guns down.
