New from New Hampshire

Hello from New Hampshire. I've been looking for a forum with more shotgun content and found this site.

I primarily shoot skeet and sporting clays. Most of the time I shoot older English and American doubles, however, I do have a modern 20 gauge O/U. Recently, I have been looking to add a 12 bore O/U to the list.

Thanks for reading,

Welcome from Florida!
Do you shoot NSCA registered sporting or just for grins and giggles?

Thanks oneounceload,

I shoot just for fun. The closest to any competition would be the Vintage Cup SXS and a handful of local trophy shoots. Nothing serious.

Welcome from TN!
I'm a fan of doubles also, most of mine are German with a few American ones thrown in for good measure. One 12, five 16's, and one 20.
I have a good friend/shooting buddy that has a place up there in NH somewhere.

I've got mostly 12's, and one 16 gauge. I like 16 gauge, and have looked at adding more. Most of what I see in that gauge are German and Belgian guns. Some nice ones too.

I grew up in the South, and have family and friends in Tennessee. I try to get down there about once a year. Usually around Nashville or Chattanooga.

Nashville is quite a trek, but Chattanooga is just over an hour south of me. The wife and I have spent quite a bit of time there as tourists - we are both fascinated by the Civil War, not that there was anything 'civil' about it.

RKB you like Chickamauga? I love going there and strolling around. I learn a little ever time I go there. Bedford Forrest fan.

Yeah, I drive through Knoxville on my way to Nashville each time I visit. It's always nice to get into Tennessee, but I have to remind myself that there is still a ways to go.

I reenacted ACW for a number of years. I used to volunteer at Kennesaw Mountain, also Ft. Pulaski down in Savannah.
