Upgrading a cz 712 g2

I have a 712 26" on the way to my ffl, and nodic extended magazine, follower, barrel clamp, extended charging handle, taran tactical drill and tap extended bolt release, and truglow universal screw in fibre optic sight. I plan to open and smooth the loading port, and polish the trigger a bit. Is there anything i need to do or watch out for to make this a good reliable 3 gun competition setup?

Before you go doing anything to the loading port, perhaps you should run it as is for a bit to see if that is necessary

I plan to see how 2 up loading is first, but figure it will at least need smoothed and polished.
