Hi Standard OU

Hi Standard did import some high end guns from time to time.

I picked this one up back in January for $600. It was made at the Olin/Kodensha plant in Japan and is identical to many Nikko OU's and the Winchester Xpert 96.

I was really pleased with the wood...which is why I bought it.

I have a Mantra that "Life is too Short to Own Ugly Guns"

It had a couple of scratches....but nothing I couldn't overlook.

i had one of those. it has a very soft rib. be careful not to ding it. is yours the double thick design to aid in heat dispersion.

Yes...it has the wide rib. I have seen wide ribs on Nikko's too. I shot a round of 1 1/8 oz loads and not something I intend to do again. 3/4 oz. will be my go to for this shotgun.
