Only 1 shot size

Hi everyone. New to the forum. I was just wondering if you guys had to choose just 1 size of shot for small game/bird hunting what would it be?

7.5 or 8s 'cause you can get cheap target loads in that size. Of course they'll be worthless for larger birds like turkey, and waterfowl.

5-6 would be my choice.

#6's would be my first choice, 1oz in 12ga and 7/8oz in 20ga. #7 1/2's would be my second choice..........Robin

6's with lead out of my 20. Seeing as I live in Ca., that will probably change to 4's in steel. I'll have to see. For now, 6's.
