I guess I take it that not one person here owns a FRANCHI at all . I'm surprised there isn't at least a few or did they all just move on somewhere else ? But also I'm surprised there isn't much activity here from more members ?

I owned a raptor 12 gauge. The gun ran flawlessly and looked really good. Unfortunately it didn't fit me so I sold it last week. My dad bought it, but hasn't had a chance to shoot it yet. He also has one of their sporting over under guns (can't recall the model)that he's been very happy with. A buddy of mine just bought an affinity that he really likes.

What do you think of yours?

I have not been able to shoot it yet however I hope to soon. But for right night the way it feels and fits and being light weight I know I'm going to really like it and be pleased with it !

I have a Franchi O/U 32" with a singe 34". I tend to shoot better with the O/U.
It's an oldie but a goodie. Franchi 2005 on the receiver, but built in 1976. Most find it heavy, but solid! First time I shot trap with it, shot a 24! Thought it was a keeper!

I fondled a 32" 48A yesterday, does that count? It felt good.

I have an I-12 that I use for everything - skeet, woodcock, grouse, ducks. Works superbly, not a single problem with it yet.

Before the I-12, I had a 612. That also worked flawlessly. Now, I'm looking at maybe getting an 48 AL in 28 ga.

I shoot a 20 gauge Franchi Veloce (O/U). Great shotgun, very light (swings fast), top shelf in fit & finish, & reliably dependable. Just added its matching 20 gauge semi-auto (Franchi Fenice) but haven't had a chance to bust some clays with it yet.
