Winchester 1200 Repair or Not?

I have acquired at no cost a Win 1200 12ga. 2-3/4Cham. Winchoke barrel and manufactured 1974 that was butchered by sawing the barrel and modifying the butt stock. Can anyone tell me if this gun would be worth repairing or should I sell the good parts that are left?
Thanks Gary

welcome gary...

used barrel would be around 125.00 with a rib. 50 or 75 as a plain bbl.
stock maybe 50.00.
stock bolt? 2.00.
sure. if the action is good, youll have a 150-175.00 gun...putting it right where it should be.

try this guy and make sure to ask if the buttplate comes with the stock.

Thanks Bob,
Ran into another problem with the threads in the receiver for the buttstock bolt are messed up. May have to bore and use a threaded insert. I will definatly check out the two websites to see how low I can get the parts.

There is a lot of parts to rebuild it online. Brownell's is a good one to go to.

Have a 97 Winchester Trench gun made in 1904. Got every part to rebuild it at Brownell's.
